I live in the US.  I have a regular UK mobile number with a plan that lets me roam throughout Europe at no extra cost.  I want to use Roamer to forward my US mobile number to my UK mobile number.  What do I do when I travel to France?  When I activate my phone, it will be a UK number roaming in France.  So when I park my number in the US before I leave for France, do I indicate I will be in France or in the UK?

I am hoping that the answer is the UK.  I am also hoping that Roamer will work even as I travel within Europe, roaming on my UK number.

In this case your UK SIM will only work in the UK. After you park your US number you will have to buy a local SIM in every new country you visit, including France.
